sometimes i find games that use some sort of fullscreen video mode that overflows off the edges of my monitor. windowed mode is never a problem and full screen seems to always work on the high-end retail games. does anyone know what causes this. my drivers are up to date. thank you

Your monitor sucks. Get a new one.

I had the same problem as you, and it is related to the monitor.

It is not TOTALLY that your monitor sucks, but you need to set your monitor.

The reason you have probs,is you dont see the errors in your usual mode.

Just set your monitor properties.
