2D in Direct3D . . . animation

Hey all, I''ve got some very basic code down for a 2D engine under Direct3D (dx8) by using textured quads . . . I just have one problem . . . You see, back in directDraw, all I had to do was move a RECT around in Surface memory in order to animate something; however, I have no clue how to do this form of animation using the textured quad''s method . . . can anyone point me in the right direction? --LordKaT

There are many ways to do this but I think the most common is to alternate texture coordinates. In other words, put multiple images on a texture and cycle the texture coordinates of the images each frame.
