Just wondering if anyone knew if SDL is current and is updated or if it end up like or is already like GLUT. Thanks

Uh ohh, you just pissed off hard core open GLErs.

I have never used SDL though, I never thought it was that good from what I have seen.

Yes, SDL is still being developed. (The last release was only a month ago).
It''s pretty "mature". (few bugs, stable API, etc)

SDL 2 is also under very early development, from what I hear.
