win32 window...

Hi, How is the win32 window important for the performence of the game? What stuff can be changed to make games run faster? I''m asking this because I commonly see win32 code for games where the description is: "suited for demos and small games", how is this different from Quake or UT win32 code? Thanks

Don''t worry too much about this stuff :-)

There are some windows things that you use to get a game up and running, and replace with better versions at a later date. Examples are timing code (eg. GetTickCount) and input code (eg. windows messages and GetAsyncKeyState).
