I think your punch lines disappeared.

Try these tags when posting code
[_code_] few lines of code [_/code_]
[_source_] many lines of code [_/source_]

but without the underscores.

It does. It also shows, however, that you confuse the assignment (=) and equality (==) operators. This is a common mistake of beginning programmers, and one that leads to hours of fruitless debugging. Something to keep in mind.
