3DStudioMax --> origin's Coordinate

Hi folk.. For my 3d models I use 3DStudioMax, but it (IMHO) use a strage method to set origin''s Coordinate..... because for X and Y axis, 0 is in the middle, but for Z axis 0 is in the bottom. there is a way to put the 0 in the middle also in the Z axis without setting it by hand? Thank ! PS. Now I try to make an exemple... I hope that it''ll be clear. X a___________b 0 Y a___________b 0 Z a___________b 0 you must imagine the aces in their true guideline in a cartesian system of aces (right-hand)
