I''ve been playing around with the DXSDK 9 and the Half-Life SDK (v2.3). I''ve been loading the grunt models into Direct3D by converting them into .x files using Milkshape3D. I can get the model & textures loaded fine but how do I load an animation? I know I can store meshs, animations and skeletons in a .x file but for space saving (and ease of updating) is it possible to store the mesh & skeleton data in one .x and the animations in other .x files? So to apply an animation to the mesh would I need to load the nessessary .x file and apply it to the skeleton and mesh? Cheers, Daniel
