Mouse buttons with DirectInput problem ...

hi ! i currently uses DirectInput to manage the mouse in my game engine, but i have a problem... sometimes (when i switch state in my state machine ...) I click a button on my UI to go to next state and then the button ALWAYS returned press... i do an Unacquire() before switching but no effect.. is there a way to reset the state of the device ? thanks ! francois
