glTexEnvi

parameters set with glTexEnv functions don''t get applied to the texture object like glTexParameter functions do they? It''s just that I''ve read in code that set the texture environment at render stages and I''ve always assumed that they worked like the texture parameters (only set them once at load time). But it''s the other way around?

glTexParameter affects the currently bound texture.

glTexEnv affects all textures in the active texturing unit.
