Difference of speed

There will be difference of speed if I''ll develop my game with SDL,DirectX or OpenGL?? My game will be isometric... tnx

SDL on windows uses DX, and depending on your DX skills will be a little faster or a little slower than if you had written it in DX. OpenGL can use 3D accel. so it generally runs faster but that is only on systems w/ a 3D card.

If you are looking for a good solution I recommend my own engine, it uses SDL for everything but graphics, for which it uses OpenGL, it's very simple, and I offer tons of support.
