I was wondering if I can make the analogy: "OpenML is for OpenGL, what DirectX is for Direct3D." As the description of OpenML is pretty much: "OpenML is a cross-platform standard programming environment for capturing, transporting, processing, displaying, and synchronizing digital media (2D and 3D graphics, audio and video processing, I/O, and networking)." If it gets to the state OpenGL got in graphics it would be an awesome api for making games, right? Just want some opinions about it. Thanks in advance. You wouldn't even have to do that much with the windowing system if you go fullscreen by using ML Display Control. edit: info about dc [edited by - guitarplayer on March 18, 2003 9:35:56 AM]
