Visual Studio's Global debugging

Somebody, please... There has to be a way to turn off Visual Studio (6 and 7) global debugging. I''m going absolutely nuts surfing the web when a stupid VS dialog box comes up everytime I hit the back button. It has also popped up dialogs on other applications (such as video players) which renders that application unusable. They had worked fine before. I think that part is a .NET thing, but I really need to get things working again. I''m using VC++ and C# for some classes, but ever since I installed the devenv this stuff has been happening. It makes normal use of my computer very frustrating. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

looks like you''re experiencing internet explorer script debugging capabilities and the debug directshow runtime, respectively.
