This is a very nice song. The melody is sweet.
I have a few suggestions for you tho.
Try not to reverb *everything*.
1. Try dry drums. I feel the heavy reverb on the drums kills the impact of the melody.
Perhaps extend this to the bass track as well, though with all the reverb going on , I can't tell if it's dry or not.
2. More variation in your drum track.. it gets a bit repetative.
3. Perhaps add a little flute/tin whistle. Your track has a bit of a celtic feel to it.
4. A key change combined with a new more upbeat rhythm will give it a fresh sound after a minute and half.. since you are only really using a two chord progression, it can get tiring after too long. Perhaps a good place to bring in the tin whistle.
5. Try a bit more panning. Don't be afraid to pan out your piano, and strings. Strings to the left, piano just off to the right of center. Perhaps in your master try to stretch the separation out more.
Anyway, just some ideas.

Really nice music you have here. I myself am not an audio guy but my friend (who is such a guy) I am sure would give you the following advice. It is important that you digitally sign your music (I have no idea how to do it but if you need to, i''ll ask my friend). He now digitally signs his music all the time and he had no more problem because of people stealing his music and distributing it over the web and putting their name on it. Of course it doesn''t stop anybody from ripping your music but it is your music, your work and we don''t like when other people say they''ve done it while really it is yours.

Well im not really a music specialist or have anything to do in that field, but I just wanted to say that these are some pretty good songs u got there. No, seriously i really enjoyed most of ur songs, a great atmospheric mood and easy to listen. Keep up the good work there buddy

thanks for all the tips I want to try laying down a 3 or 4 track string mix and pan it as if they were up on stage for some reason paning never really clicks in my head as something to do but its a great idea to start doing it
I for some reason always have loved reverb it just gives it that fantasy sound I like I do try to keep reverb off the bass and some times cut back on the drums but my problem is I have a hard time controlling it using my Proteus 2000 if Channel 1 is set to have it every chanel after it either has it the same as the first or it has none at all
anyone know how to change the settings so I can mix my own reverb? I know some where theres a way to lower or raise how much FXs from the main channel is seen but Im not sure how

I really liked this song. I agree with Yannis though, there is too much reverb on the drums. I think it suits the rest nicely, it passes (maybe a tad too much on the higher strings). Go with less reverb on the drums, compress them a bit more and set them back in the mix a tiny bit. I don''t hear the celtic vibe in it. I do however hear a strong Moby influence? His earlier work sounded much like this. Listen to his song "Novio".
The piano has a good sound to it. The strings sounds a little strained compared to how smoothly the piano was recorded, but still good. I''d get on a better host if I were you.
