(2) i guess i ought to qualify that.. yes, i''m pretty much anti-education (not anti-learning..) but i''m also rather a hard-liner on ''social reform..'' ie. it''s more important to me to push the envelope than it is to ''prosper.'' i''m partially native american.. so to me, wealth is health, environment, having something creative to occupy my mind''s instinct to refine.. imho following these values is the more rewarding path. hell, i gave away a ''65 karmann ghia to a friend who needed it more than me, and i rarely make more than $12k a year (well i work about 3 hours a day and get the rest for music and programming..) plus bikes are cooler. it''s important to me to suggest that just because people are raised in one cultural form, they don''t lose the ability to be discerning and choose something better.
