crazy thoughts in my head

let''s say i want to design a VM/byte code interpreter. let''s further say i decide to use MMX or something similar for reading the stream of instructions and doing all the stack operations. if the format of the byte code is well designed, i could then do multiple operations in parallel. that would be a lightning fast vm, right? what do you think about this? maybe it''s just a crazy idea though (i just woke up and i haven''t had coffee until now)

still wont be as fast as C/C++

but yeah, its called microthreading i think ..
java does it and so do the Quake and Unreal Engines to name a few..

i have a simple vm desing and lazy asm style language to go with it (at my sites programming page -- the link is below)
