does md2 contain vertexNormals
I''m making a game using md2 files for animation.
I basically used the lesson 4 in Nehe''s tutorials
it shows up fine now, but I notice that maybe there''s no shading
because I think there isn''t any vertexNormal information in the
struct of that tutorial does anyone know if md2 format contains vertexNOrmals or not, I want to have shading so can I just
put vertexNormals in the struct? And use it that way.
But if milkshapes md2 conversion won''t convert it it''ll be a waste or will I have to just compute them myself, can anyone help in this dilemma.
MD2 contains an index into an array of precalculated normals. This table can be found somewhere in the Q2 source code.
However, rather than dig out the table, I would simply compute them yourself.

"Dig out" the table, it will save you some loading time and memory.
