DX Class , VB.net

I have an application that need to deal with 3d objects , I will design the objects using 3DSMax , then I will convert them to .x file format , My application must be able to do the following : 1. rotate a group of objects 2. zoom in and out 3. make some objects visible or invisible 4. make some objects transparent I must use VB .net , I hade tried a lot using DirectX 8.1, but it is too complicated What I need is a class in VB.net to simplify these needs , So is there a class that I can download , or give me any advice on how to perform such tasks , Thank you very much ....

The DirectX 9 SDK includes the managed directX components, that are intended to make the lives of .NET developers easier. You should therefore abandon DirectX 8.1. There are many VB.NET-specific examples and tutorials on how to do many of these things you ask.
