World vs. Screen Coordinates

Ok, I''ve checked every reference I can, including the Pick program, and I still can''t figure this out. How do you transform world coordinates to screen coordinates? I''m trying to write some custom mouse code, such that the mouse cursor is actually moving above (and parallel to) the z-plane, while the camera is able to rotate around the y-axis, and I want to make sure that the mouse cursor never leaves the visible screen area. Any help is greatly appreciated, since this is driving me batty, and it seems like it should be fairly easy to do. Thanks in advance, -Odd the Hermit
