Hey, I''m no pro at building AI but i do have an idea. I was thinking about simulating AI with a bouncing ball. e.g. ____ / \ |B---->|C \\___/ A B = Bouncing Ball A = Previous Location C = Next Location --> Arrow indecating where ball will hit Since a ball just bounces around in any direction, each time the ball hits one of the sides the character does something. e.g. Side 1: Walk Side 2: Run Side 3: Is Gun at you? -> Yes. Side 1: Run Side 2: Hands Up Side 3: Ignore gun No. ... Think about it. Michael

The ball physics would be a waste of cpu time, and you could just wait a random amount of time. The ball is a bit predictable, too.
