If anyone''s interested, I''ve released the source code for my Backpropagation Neural Network C++ classes. It also comes with a small sample application which demonstrates how a neural net can be used in a Role Playing Game. This is the same NN code that I''m using in my NeuroDriver project (car controlled by a neural net) You can get the code here: http://gpdev.net/NeuroDriver_bpnet.html Comments are welcome. I have to agree. That is a fantastic use of an ANN that really affects gameplay. The idea of disguise is not one I have seen in a game, yet one that opens so many doors (pun intended)!!!

Thanks, guys.

I liked the idea so much that I was almost tempted to start writing a game which implements it.
Then I remembered it''s only supposed to be a small sample application

I think it would be interesting to see this in an MMORPG
Where the NPC keeps learning by encountering more human controlled
players and other NPC''s.

And to think I first thought of releasing the obligatory XOR problem as a sample application
