Hey I did some work on a HL map viewer . I have the vertex and face information but the rendering is different from a Quake3 Map . I mean , in quake 3 you have indices to the first vertex and the number of the vertices that each face contains so you can render the face as a triangle fan . How can i render the faces (without texturing) of the Half-Life maps ? How is the info arranged ? thx alot [edited by - Joe Forhens on April 2, 2003 7:17:05 AM]

botman , i dropped you a mail on the subject a few months ago , still no respose . In fact i needed just the piece of theory on how i render the faces after i have loaded the vertex and face data - and finding it through a pile of c code wasn''t easy for me (wich means that i did have a look at ur cool viewer). Anyway , still thx for the respose , is it just luck or u browse Game Developement forums so actively ? (Ur response on the thread was given in less than 2 hours , and i DID know you would respond ).
