Power Render 5.0 Trial Released

Egerter Software has released a fully working trial version of Power Render 5.0 3D Engine at www.powerrender.com. Fully supporting DirectX 9, Power Render 5 adds many useful rendering features, improved tools, and easier debugging. Multipass Rendering - Artists can now link materials together to form multipass effects and see the results instantly with no programming involved. Use up to 16 passes with 8 textures per pass to create any effect you can think of. It is also possible to use different shader languages (CG, HLSL, assembly) in each pass. RenderStyles - Control the Direct3D rendering states directly, giving the artists complete control over how an object looks. NPatches - Support for NPatch (ATI''s Truform) realtime tessellation DirectX 9 features - Double sided stencil buffers and Scissor Testing are among the DX9 specific features added Shader Languages - Support for CG 1.1 and DirectX 9''s High Level Shader Language (HLSL) have been added. Terrain Splatting - Supports larger terrains, dynamic texturing and lighting. Many improvements to the model viewer and terrain editor. The Power Render 5 Engine is available now, and has a number of different licenses for all types of developers.
