Hi all OK, I''ve got environment mapping working (although there''s still a bug in it ), but the surface looks dull, just as if a bitmap was scrolling across the surface. How do I get the surface looking shiny? Specular lighting with 1 specular directional light just doesn''t seem to do the trick. Do I need to add more lights, or is it in the composure of the bitmap?

Assuming you''re doing the environment mapping in a single pass, then in your SetTextureStageState() calls change the operation for the the texture stage where the envmap is applied.
