I know the latest and greatest 3d models have joints, skins on joints, and a skeletal system. I was wondering if MD2 models support all that? If not, what does it support as far as features/technology. And, what model formats do support joints and skeletons? Or, does it matter not on the format? thanks.

That''s the md2 file format... it does not contain anything more than the faces, vertices, texture coordinates...
There are many formats that contain joints and skeletons.
