Well, it is an important part of the MS library! About a month after I bought MSVC++, I wished I spent the extra $150 and bought the whole thing. C# and VB aren''t very important, but I did need VB for some small projects.

Another place you can try, is a small Collage. Many collage stores carry MS products. They are sometimes educationally discounted. (read this as : "The FULL VERSON, with a discount", not the learning edition) Some stores require a ID check, some don''t, usually the smaller ones don''t. And returns are pretty good.
