I''ve added an MFC interface to an existing program (command line) and can setup and run the program - since all the options are set before the program runs. How would I call MFC commands from the original part of the program, eg to step a progress bar? Also is there a way of creating a text output box in the MFC interface where I could display the couts from the original program. thanks

In terms of an MFC window, yes, one solution is to include windows.h and instantiate a window via Create(). As for cout, one solution is a console window.
