Heya, I'm using Dev-C++ v4.9.8.0 and I'm having a problem with my executables being too darn big! I have all the extra code generating options turned off, but I'm still getting "hello world" exe's that are like 400KB! Any suggestions on what I can do to reduce the file size? Oh, and I'm using Mingw 3.2, if that helps [edited by - Etherstar on April 18, 2003 11:13:21 PM]

Are the executables stripped? I don''t know if there''s a GUI option for this in Dev C++, but you can add "-s" to the compiler options to have it do this if it doesn''t.
