Hi all. I have this simple scenario which i''ve been stuck on for a while now.. All i want is a level editor which exports each of the vertices to a file, which i can then import to my app and they will be in the same place. The closest ive came to this was using UnrealEd but theres something i''m not doing quite right as the objects are slightly off from where i originally placed them in UnreadEd. Unfortunately i dont know about the ''intersecting planes'' stuff that warcraft uses to generate its maps so im trying to go about it this way. surely there must be SOMETHING out there that does something this simple? Fev

If you want to go about loading Worldcraft .map files, may I suggest this excellent (though not DirectX specific) tutorial here.

Hopefully that is some help for you if you haven't already come across it before. That is assuming you meant Worldcraft as opposed to Warcraft!
