"So what point exactly were you trying to make by quoting half lifes of a few billion years"

I already explained exactly what my point is but your illeteracy and piss poor attitude and debate skills that require you butcher anything and everything that someone actually says and then whine about the managled mess that remains got in the way.

We''re back on track with Christianity. If you want to know the point I was making, reread my posts. I suggest learning how to read first.

"Actually, I would say you are neither Buddist nor Christian."

Yep. Read "The Gospel of Buddha" and you may be able to pick out the stricking contradictions between it and Christianity. Currently you''re just confused about both and don''t really understand what either teachers. Or you just have a superficial knowledge of both and haven''t come to the parts that make one distinctly an apple and the other distinctly an orange.

I hope you were being ironic in misspelling "illiteracy". But then again trolls aren''t known for their intelligence.

Also your posts are even more saturated with insults than usual. Machaira edited quite a number of your posts already and he should edit those. But I hope you enjoyed yourself.

This was already answered before. Just because God could have done it instantly doesn''t mean he had to. Perhaps he wanted to take the time to enjoy his creation. Do you always rush through things to get them done? Probably not, so why should God?
Lol. I am sorry then, I didn''t have time to read 55-page long posts

Now if I only could get rid of my addiction to pornography, I would be set. It's causing some VERY adverse things in my life to happen, and I know it's not right. I know I don't need it, but I can't stop, regardless. Any suggestions, serious ones, please?
You can get rid of addiction with a strong willingness. In fact, I have just done this. Make a promise to yourself, or God (don't you like it when you have something to cling on? ), that you are not going to do it for an insane amount of time, like....2-3 months (I did it for 11 weeks = 77 days, why 77 days? just because by the time it was over, it was my birthday). Also make a promise that IF you fail, something really bad (really really bad) is going to happen to you, like...you are going to be blind or something. It's going to be really tough during the first couple of weeks, but after that..it's nothing. You won't even think about porns, if you do, you won't have desire to watch them.

I think not "beating your meat" would be much harder than looking at pornos every day.

There''s no town drunk here, we all take turns.

The addiction thing:

There are quite a few books out there about that... "Every Man''s Struggle" comes to mind...there''s also a teen version.

You could tell a good friend about your problem and get him (or her...) to help you. It really helps to get stuff off your chest...plus you''re accountable to someone.

This quote might help:

a "think outside the box" answer for the origional poster:

Yeah, thats not what I call fun either.

At my church, we have a contempary service that''s more energetic, fewer old people, and just more fun in general. we also have a great youth group. Look for another church in your area. with a cool youth group.

Since the thread I originally mentioned this in got deleted, I''d just like to propose that if the mods are going to allow this topic now (as it''s spilt into several active threads), maybe it should be moved to our spankin'' new Politics Forum, which has probably slowed down some anyway
