sure, no problem.
I''m glad you like it
The best Graphic API after DelphiX
WDirectX is very good, its based on JEDI files and it is still being updated by its original author, unlike DelphiX.
Google it (2nd or 3rd link that comes up I think is the right one).
One correction, neither DelphiX nor WDirectX are APIs, they''re wrappers.

Thanks! The site is really impressive.
Ran some of the demos too. Very impressive! I look forward to getting into this development kit. Nice work!
PS: What are some of the things planned for this gdk? Visual Components, more automated installation, more features?

hey, thanks!
to see a complete list of features to be included in future releases, check out the faq section of the xcess website.
In short:
Visual components - Most likely not. The three (and soon four) tools that come with XCESS enable you to visually create user interfaces, fonts and packages. At least in my opinion it doesn''t make much sense to turn XCESS into a set of visual components because that would give you almost no advantages. You probably remember that in DelphiX you did have VCL components that you could drop on your form but with one exception, all components were non-visual (that exception is DXDraw which again wasn''t really visual but merely served as a container for DirectDraw''s overlay).
More automated installation - Well, the xcess installer adds the xcess directory to Delphi''s library path. Unless I decide to turn xcess into a visual component set, there''s really not much more it could do.
More features - Check the FAQ for that. There''s plenty of new stuff to come.
