Hello All, I''m working on a webcam program. I''m looking for a way to get an array of RGB info for every pixel. I''m working in DirectShow right now but I''m open to anything short of a Logitech SDK, this program needs to be dynamic. If anyone has ever worked on this before or knows of anything I would appreciate any info. Take a look at the Microsoft Vision SDK. It''s freely available (AFAIK) from MS''s vision research group. I used it recently on a computer vision project to access video from a webcam. It provides an MFC AppWizard that generates skeleton code to access cameras, grab images, etc. Very useful.

ya know, i have the DirectX 8.0 SDK and it actually has a webcam program, so if you have the SDK, you could look at the coding for that program...if that would even help. you might wanna look at the documentation in the SDK for that, too.

Hm, I wonder how hard it would be to use that MS Vision sdk to capture images of my cat coming in the cat door with critters in his mouth, and if so preventing access. I read about I guy that did that successfully and always wanted to try it.
Hm wonder if they have a .NET version.
