Can anyone recommend a good free c# compiler that can be used on windows xp?

apparently the platform SDK comes with one, and there are a couple of other free implementations. btw, has anyone worked with dotgnu at all?

If you''re programming in .NET (which includes C#), then you should be using the .NET framework SDK which Microsoft provides (as it should, it''s their creation);

It comes with all you need. You can even program anything in .NET with a simple text pad, although I wouldn''t recommend it. Much like Sun with their Java, Microsoft provides you with everything you need for FREE, as it should, especially since all languages that use .NET are real languages, unlike the old VB6.
