link doesn''t work...
I'm happy to see that someone has managed to get funding for something like this at long last.

I wish you much success.

edit: the link works fine.

Post-Docs, PhD students and regular students

What do you mean by "regular students"? Undergraduates? If that''s the case, are you expecting formal (i.e.: academic) experience, are would informal experience be acceptable?

quote:If you have expertise in one or more of the following areas, we would be happy to receive your application to join our team

You are expecting an "expertise" from "regular students"?

Cédric

P.S.: I find the Flash to be annoying and inconvenient, but that''s personal taste.
Must an applicant be willing to relocate to Munich, or will most work be done on-line?
Thanks,CodeJunkie
Code-Junkie,
These are regular staff positions, i.e., everyone would have to be based in Munich.

cedricl,
"regular students" means diploma/master students that study at the university. These jobs are usually only for 80 hours per month, so that the students can go on with their studies. Academic experience is of course not expected for them, and tasks are much more practically oriented (programming interfaces from our AI to games, test-run analysis tools etc).

Best,
Alex

Ever consider outsourcing the PV? Maybe you need your product ported to the Mac as well?

Bummer...I'm stuck outside of Denver with the Munich blues again...oh well...Sounds like a cool thing. Best of luck with it all. Keep us posted. Thanks for answering my question.

I''m really excited by this, Alex, and I congratulate you heartily on the new lab. I''m hoping it will prove to be a center of study for some game-related AI issues, as well as a place where you and your fellow researchers can perhaps do some experimentation in the area of AI Standards.
