i am not sure if i''d placed this thread in the right forum, so please move it if it has to been moved. well, to the question. in my opinion, games with glide support looks better than opengl or direct3d powered games. would this be affected if i installed a glide wrapper? does it looks like the real glide thing or what? and how difficult would it be to write a glidewrapper of my own? Glide huh?

I use to program the Glide API until 3dfx went bust and I got a newer graphics card.

I dont know about whether games with glide support loook better or not, my guess would be that if they supported glide then they probably supported specific glide features which they didn;t implement using the DX or OGL API.

My advice would be to forget about glide and go with DX or OGL.
