It''s true that many anime were first comic books (Manga). So is the same true with anime before it''s a game? If so, then I''ll keep to making my "Manga" for now until I can make an anime with it.

I don't think I understand the question, are you asking if there needs to be an anime before you can make a game or what? Or are you planning something like this: Manga->Anime->Game->WorldDomination?

Edit: Oh, I see No, I do not know of any games *released here* that are based on a manga alone. There is nothing wrong with it though... as long as the manga is popular

It doesn''t necessarly go with

manga -> anime -> games

there are others that I noticed:

games -> anime -> manga, eg Himikoden, Pokemon
anime -> manga -> games, eg Escaflowne
novel -> manga -> anime -> games, eg Slayer

And there is
manga -> remained manga
Children Book -> Anime

I am sure there are others as well.

Last I checked the Comic Book Code is something that isn''t really enforced in today''s US Comic Market. It''s a throwback to an older more conservative time...*cough* 1950''s *cough*...so I''d say most anything goes nowadays. I mean look at Sin City and some of the other more "mature" reads that have been on the market for the last few years.

Do you think that some bureucrat phycologist under Bush''s term with a chip on his shoulder, will do the same thing to Games?

Hmm, maybe I shouldn''t have asked that question. I don''t want this thread moved and lost in the ever-bombarded Politics forum.
