Does anybody know how to add BLANK project files in Visual C# .NET (2002 Standard Edition)? Every time I create a Blank Solution and Add A Project it creates xml resources, an icon(which doesn''t make a difference in console applications) and a .cs file with already written source code. This happens for both Console & Windows Applications. Also, I don''t think the project needs the files because it''s only a Hello World program and since when did they need xml stuff? Does anybody know how to solve this as I don''t want to have to manually delete files and code every time I start a new project.

When you add a project, make sure the project type is empty project, instead of console project, or window application. The console or Window application is a small wizard to provide you with a small base code to start. Then if you want a blank .cs file, make sure to add a codefile instead of any other type of file
