Simulations? (kind of a math question).

right... anyone have any tutorials on sports simulations? i''m working on a hockey sim and i''m having trouble figuring out how to sim games... i can''t figure out the best way... theres a lot of math involved i''m sure.

If you want it to look real, yes, ther is lots of math. However, you could also make it a bit more arcade-ish and get away with minimal math. Think "Advanced Pacman".

Yes it''s a lot of math involved. I found some good inspirational code at www.sourceforge.net and especially the game called txtFL.

Otherwise I haven''t found very much useful material, how about you?
