with my symbols i would like to be able to associate a string with the symbol. If i had a variable called counter i would like the langauge to be able to return that variable upon receiving its string (GetSymbol ("counter"); ) make up for the short-comings of RTTI I think it is better explained in that link you gave me. I just need to figure out how to use that information at runtime. That could mean MUCH larget exe''s if i exported an entire symbol table
