"Current vertex shader declaration doesn't match VB's FVF"

When I switch to D3D Debug runtime, I get this error when using Draw*Primitive to render my terrain. The thing is that I put the same FVF in the CreateVertexBuffer and in the SetFVF function. With release runtime, it runs, but Im worried of performance penalties due to that error. Any ideas?

I have looked at the code too many times, I will look some more.. If I don''t find it, I will post some here.
