3DS .X Exporter

I am trying to rebuild the .X exporter that comes with the DirectX 8.1 Extras SDK (I have Max 4.2 which tells me the supplied binary is obsolete) One of the files includes a header phyexp.h which I don''t have. Is this part of the character studio SDK and if so is it possible to compile the exporter without all the physique support stuff? thanking you ...

Yes, I''ve seen them. Yet somehow I managed to miss the part that says "you must also have the correct 3ds max SDK installed, as well as the SDK for Character Studio"
