Hi, I'm constantly seeing these (subject) references... Like ARB_vertex_program, NV30, NV20, R200, etc. And more recently in Carmack's paper (http://www.bluesnews.com/plans/1/). What does all this mean? Thanks... [edited by - xyz on May 1, 2003 7:01:21 AM]

ARB_vertex_program is an OGL extension, to use programmable vertex pipelines, better known as Vertex Shaders...

NV20 is the GF3 chipset...(or is it the GF4[no, i think GF4 is NV25...right?])
NV30 is the GFfx chipset
R200 is the Radeon 8500''s chip...

(plz correct me, if I stated something wrong...)
