He yann, since you are such a bsp hater, how do you sort your pols for transparent pols. An octree can''t do this, right? Just curious My Site

I don''t hate BSPs, I just like using the right tool for the right job. BSPs are no option for the sort of things I do. I don''t use octrees either, btw.

I sort my transparent objects using a time-coherent natural mergesort or by a simple radix sort. Whatever is faster (it gets profiled per frame, the engine might switch on the fly).
