TortoiseCVS & CVS problem

I installed the CVS server onto my Linux box and the TortoiseCVS client onto my Windows box. I created a new module for my project in CVS and played around with the features, just to get used to them. Then I deleted all of the files from the CVS repository on the server, and now TortoiseCVS is confused; it still thinks the CVS repository still exists on the server. I''ve tried uninstalling and re-installing TortoiseCVS but I can''t get it to see that the CVS repository is no longer there. Does anyone have any tips on how to fix this? I''ll reboot the server when I go to bed later, but until I''m in need of help! Thanks!

I don''t get it: what does that have to do with my problem?

It sounds like you have CVS directories left in your local copy of the source, with files specifying the remote repository you removed. You can remove the directories or update the files in them if you want to use another repository.

Aha! You may be onto something there. It never occured to me to look for local CVS files. Thanks!

Edit:

Awesome that was it! Thanks
