Hello. I have the "Programming RPG games with DirectX 8.0" book, from Jim Adams. In the chapter 10, Jim start to explain how work the gamecore that he made for this book... I would like to know if I should use this gamecore for my game ? It look to be strange.. And I think the game core doesn''t have some function that I could want to use.!? It''s what you want yourself. I suggest you build an engine based on his core, you just leave out what you don''t want, and add what you do want.
His core is great when you''re lazy, but it''s better that way.
BTW: I don''t use it, though.

I''d prefer not to use it, but, the rest of his book his based on his gamecore..
Well, i''ll follow your idea, i''ll change what I want to have..
