I am trying to render a 3D violin using Nurbs. Now, I can get a Nurbs surface to work using the standard 4X4 control points. But for my violin I need to create a surface that looks kinda like a bracket " } " that comes to a point in two places. I have created 14 control points in the s direction, and 4 control points in the t direction. I have played around with all variations of knots, and I can''t seem to get it right. I''ve looked all over the internet and in my text books, but to no avail. If anyone can shed some insight, I would greatly appreciate it! Tracy

I have been able to successfully create the exact curve that I want in Rhinoceros, but I can''t figure out how to extract the data that I would need to program the curve in OpenGL.
