A good introduction into 3D

1. What kind of maths/ physics books should I look into to prepare for 3D games. 2. Any recommendations for a good 3D books.

For the absolute knowledge of 3D math, there is an old, yet very helpful book by André LaMothe called The Black Art of 3D Game Programming. I found it very useful, but it''s not all that good if you''re looking to use OpenGL or Direc3D.

thanks for the reply, when i look at the customers'' review for Mathematics of 3D Game Programming & Computer Graphics, it seems it''s more like a reference rather than a guide book, thus just wondering whether it''s suitable for 3d maths starters?
