DirectX for Mac?

Recommended Posts

Is there any way at all that a Mac can play a DirectX-based game? I heard there''s a software called Mac DX, but does it really work? BoNKing the nation!

Shut up RhoneRanger. Do some research before you answer questions you do not know the answer to.

I never knew that. hmmm

SOME emulators might (MIGHT) work??

No, not by Microsoft at least. This MacDX is apparently some sort of way however to run DirectX on Mac (as there is a title on their page which reads "DirectX® for Mac OS")

Edit: I appologize for being so hastey to resort to rudeness

Edit 2: Don't listen to me? He asked about a way, and I showed him the exact way he asked for, even by name. He didn't ask how to program 3D games for Macintosh. Besides, he's looking for emulation anyway.

Actually, it just says "ports" so I would assume it's not an emulator. On the site it says "Simply compile your product source with your choice of Mac OS development environment, link in the MacDX - now you have your Mac OS version."
