Hello I have looked some at the devc++ IDE which appears to be using mingw32. However I''m a bit unsure if this compiler ''forces'' me to GPL projects compiled with it or not. Does anyone know anything about this? How can I be sure I don''t get my programs GPL infected? Thanks.

The compiler used does not "infect" a project (unless you''re distributing the compiler itself). Using third-party GPL libraries might. Check the distribution terms for the libraries.

I have no troubles with it.

If your so concerned just replace the mingw command line compilers with the free borland or .NET compilers, but I didn''t see anything like that in the licence.
