I'm planning on making an RPG (just for the experience of it, not commercial or anything), and I was wondering if this game would be considered 2D or 3D: Clicky I'm planning on making it in OpenGL, I've already got a terrain engine made if it's 3D. To me it clearly looks 2D, but I'm not sure how I should make it. [edited by - Kaezin on May 4, 2003 1:38:29 PM]

Depends on how your RPG will be played and the amount of work/time you are willing to contribute. If you are doing it alone, I''d suggest making it 2D (easier).

Rage of Mages II looks pretty good. That looks 3D to me .
