Missing DirectX refences in Visual Studio .NET

I have installed the DirectX 9.0 SDK. When I try compile and run any of the C# examples I get error Microsoft.DirectX refences not found. I have tryed all things that I can think of and still it errors...

Do you have the 9.0a end-user runtimes installed? If so you manually have to extract the developer dlls and manually add the reference path to them under your solution properties.
